Characteristics of flat aluminium bars

6060 alloy

Alloy suitable for the production of flat bars up to 6 mm thick and extruded profiles in general

Extruded flat bars from 10 x 2 mm to 120 x 5 mm.

6082 alloy

General purpose, suitable for various applications, with average mechanical properties, good weldability and corrosion resistance. Suitable for surface treatments.

Extruded flat bars from 15 x 8 mm to 300 x 20 mm with T6 heat treatment.

2011 alloy

Alloy best suited for machining on high-speed automatic lathes.

Drawn flat bars from 20 x 12 mm to 40 x 30 mm with T3/T8 heat treatment.

Extruded flat bars from 30 x 20 mm to 150 x 80 mm with T6 heat treatment.

2033 alloy

Lead-free alloy with excellent machinability suitable for machining on high-speed machines. Mechanical properties superior to 2011 alloy.

Drawn flat bars from 20 x 12 mm to 40 x 30 mm with T3/T8 heat treatment.

Extruded flat bars from 30 x 20 mm to 150 x 80 mm with T6 heat treatment.

7075 alloy

Aluminium alloy with the highest mechanical properties.

Extruded flat bars from 30 x 20 mm to 200 x 20 mm with T6 heat treatment.
